Old Mutual Global Investors has attracted the most retail inflows of all fund groups in the first quarter of the year, as investors flock to the group's UK star Richard Buxton.
The latest Pridham Report found the group attracted £857m in net flows in Q1, with Buxton's UK Alpha fund its best-selling product. OMGI has seen an increase in equity fund flows across the board and has also drawn money into its newly launched inflation-targeted Foundation mixed asset range. Top ten regulars Standard Life Investments and Artemis also saw strong net sales, at £642m and £509m respectively.
