Majedie Asset Management has hired Fidelity's Adrian Brass as it prepares a push into the global and US equity space via three fund launches next month.
Brass will co-manage the group's two new global equity funds - Global Equity and Global Focus, and will also be the lead manager on a new US Equity fund. At Fidelity he was manager of the offshore FF America fund for the past six years as well as other mandates. Majedie's push into the global equity space was announced in January, when the group hired Tom Record from Baillie Gifford to lead the development. He was hired following the departure of Majedie's two senior global equities managers, Simon Todd and Michael Nickson, for rival Marathon Asset Management at the end of 2012. ...
