Aberdeen Asset Management has promoted Siddharth Dahiya to the newly created position of head of emerging market corporate debt following the departure of Esther Chan from the group.
Chan was senior investment manager within the EMD team and has decided to take up a similar portfolio management role elsewhere in the industry, according to the group. In his new role Dahiya (pictured) will work alongside senior investment manager Max Wolman and will continue to report to head of emerging market and sovereign debt Brett Diment.
