Unicorn's John McClure passes away

Unicorn Asset Management's John McClure has passed away, the board of the Acorn Income fund has announced.

McClure, one of the country's top UK equity managers, managed the Unicorn UK Income, UK Growth and Smaller Companies funds as well as the Acorn Income investment trust. Acorn's board said in a statement: "The board of Acorn Income Fund Limited has been notified by Unicorn Asset Management Limited that John McClure, one of three co-managers on the Company's smaller companies portfolio, has sadly passed away.
