Thein and Gardner depart LGIM after multi-asset reshuffle

Multi-managers Alan Thein and Tim Gardner have left L&G Investments following a review of the division.

Thein (pictured) has worked at L&G since 2004, while Gardner joined the firm in 2006, both working in the investment manager research unit. They then co-founded L&G's multi-manager division in 2008 and ran the L&G Multi Manager Growth, Balanced, and Income funds.  The move follows a business division realignment which saw Legal & General Investments (LGI) move reporting lines into LGIM last year.
