Global property fund manager exits Skagen

Skagen has lost a member of the team running its property fund, while seeing a new addition to its Nordic and global equity desk.

Peter Alstrom exited the business at the end of June to pursue other opportunities. He had spent two years at Skagen, working on the team responsible for Skagen M2, a global fund investing in listed property companies. The team is led by Michael Gobitschek and Harald Haukas, both longstanding Skagen fund managers. The group announced earlier this year it had expanded its Vekst Nordic and global investment team with the appointment of Erik Bergoo, who joins as a portfolio manager on 1 September.
