UK equities manager Philip Hardy has left FOUR Capital Partners after less than a year.
Hardy joined FOUR in October 2013 from Polar Capital where he had been a fund manager. At FOUR, he was running a £166m SEI UK equity mandate which was transferred over from Polar Capital, but SEI has now moved this mandate elsewhere. Adrian Jackson, director of client services at FOUR, said Hardy's process was different to the existing UK equity team and there was no reason for him to stay without the mandate. The group still has a UK equity offering, the FOUR Active UK Equity fund, managed by Chris Rodgers.
