Barings has hired two former Schroders managers to strengthen its investment team after multi-asset managers Andrew Cole, Percival Stanion and Shaniel Ramjee quit the group.
Head of multi-asset Stanion (pictured) is to depart "to take up an external opportunity", Barings said, with Cole and Ramjee also subsequently resigning. The trio are not scheduled to leave Barings for several months, a spokeswoman added. Stanion joined the group in 2001, while Cole, manager of the £1bn Baring Multi-Asset fund, has been at the company for the past 28 years. The Multi-Asset fund, which has doubled in size over the past 12 months following significant inflows, has returned 11% over the three years to 1 August.
