Matthews Asia has expanded its fund range with the launch of the Matthews Asia Strategic Income fund.
Following the launch of a similar strategy in the United States three years ago, the new fund will expand the firm's Luxembourg-based UCITS range. Teresa Kong will run the new fund, having managed the US fund from launch, alongside co-managers Gerald Hwang and Satya Patel. The fund will invest primarily in bonds and other debt securities of Asian corporate and sovereign issuers in a range of currencies.
