Dean exit fallout: Whitechurch labels Schroder UK Opps a sell

Whitechurch Securities has moved to sell clients' positions in the Schroder UK Opportunities fund following Julie Dean's exit from the group.

Dean has been running the £2.1bn fund for Schroders since last year, when she joined the group following the takeover of Cazenove Capital. In total, she runs over £4bn in the UK Opportunities strategy, including the Oeic and additional mandates. She has established herself as a leading UK equity manager having worked at Cazenove since 2002, and her exit has prompted Whitechurch to act.
