Holly Mackay, the founder and MD of platform advice, research, and events firm The Platforum, has resigned from the business, the group has confirmed.
Yesterday Investment Week revealed Mackay (pictured), who founded The Platforum in 2007 and recently returned from a two-month sabbatical, had quit the business. Today The Platforum, which was bought in 2011 by Centaur Media, confirmed her departure. Mackay will step down in November, but there is no direct replacement for her at the helm of the organisation as yet. Mackay sold the company to publisher Centaur for an initial fee of £1.8m three years ago. She took a sabbatical this summer after her lock-in arrangement with Centaur ended in June.
