Ex-Threadneedle man Davis joins Polar for European income launch

Polar Capital has hired Nick Davis from Threadneedle to launch a new European equity income franchise later this year.

The group plans to launch a Pan European Income fund in the fourth quarter to compliment its range of existing product offerings. Davis joins the group from Threadneedle, where he managed the £603m Threadneedle European fund and the £91m Threadneedle Pan European Equity Dividend fund until his departure this July. He was also previously deputy fund manager of the £2.2bn Threadneedle European Select fund.
