Lloyds' Diebel joins Aviva Investors as head of rates

Lloyds Bank's Charlie Diebel has joined Aviva Investors as head of rates strategy.

In the role Diebel (pictured) will be responsible for the collaboration between the emerging market debt and developed market rates teams, coordinating the fixed income house view. He will be based in London, reporting to Daniel James, global head of rates and multi-strategy fixed income. At Lloyds, Diebel was head of market strategy within the commercial banking team. He also previously worked as head of rates strategy at Nomura International.
