Neuberger Berman launches long/short multi-manager fund

Neuberger Berman has launched a long/short multi-manager fund for its Hedge Fund Solutions group.

The new fund is a UCITS strategy, allowing retail investors to access a select group of external hedge fund advisers running long/short strategies. It will sit alongside the firm's existing alternative offerings, such as the absolute return multi-strategy fund launched in October 2013 and the US long/short equity fund launched earlier in the year. The Hedge Fund Solutions group already manages over $4bn (£2.6bn) and comprises managing directors David Kupperman, Fred Ingham, Jeff Majit and Eric Weinstein, and senior vice president Ian Haas.
