Nordea's Jorry Noddekaer is seeing an increasing number of investment opportunities in private Chinese companies, as the country's new leadership sparks a change in outlook.
His £890m Nordea 1 - Emerging Stars Equity fund allocates 7% to Chinese stocks, which he said is an overweight to the region relative to his investment model, which does not follow a set benchmark. The manager sees the new political leadership giving more freedom for companies free from state influence and minority shareholders, benefitting investors in these stocks.
