Romer-Lee: IMA fails to represent active managers

The Investment Management Association (IMA) is failing to represent the interests of active fund managers, according to Richard Romer-Lee.

The Square Mile research and consulting company managing director said active managers are being let down by their representative body. Romer-Lee (pictured) said the IMA had done little to dispel the myth that passive management is a better option for investors when the difference in performance between active and passive is not that large.
