Convertibles duo join ING from Avoca

ING Investment Management is to add a further fixed income strategy to its product range following the hire of a pair of managers from Avoca Convertible Bond Partners.

Tarek Saber and Jasper van Ingen, previously managers of the Avoca Convertible Select Global fund, joined the group at the end of November. Saber's new title will be investment team manager convertible bonds, while Van Ingen will be senior portfolio manager. Both will be based in the London office. Saber had worked at Avoca since 2011, having previously worked at the ABP/APG pension fund, where he set up and managed the corporate opportunity strategy fund.
