Aberdeen's Gilbert meets Google to discuss tech challenges

Aberdeen Asset Management chief executive Martin Gilbert has met Google executives in a bid to better understand the technological challenges facing the fund industry, according to reports.

The meeting took place last month in London, and saw the FTSE 100-listed fund group discuss how it can “target the right people”, according to the FT. The paper reports Aberdeen executives have also met LinkedIn and Facebook representatives to discuss similar issues.
