EFG Asset Management has made two new hires to expand its investment teams in London and Hong Kong.
In London, the group has hired Birgir Stefansson as senior fund analyst, who will head up private equity research. Stefansson was previously investment manager at LSR covering international markets. He will report to global head of research, Daniel Murray. The group has also hired Jaye Chiu, previously head of the discretionary multi-asset class portfolio management team at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, as head of investments in Hong Kong.
