Aberdeen Asset Management's CIO and Standard Life Investments' head of global strategy are among those to have been recognised in the 2015 New Year honours list.
Anne Richards (pictured), chief investment officer at Aberdeen AM, has been made a Commander of the British Empire for services to the financial services industry as well as for voluntary service. Having begun her fund management career at JP Morgan Investment Management and then Mercury Asset Management, Richards joined Aberdeen in 2003 following its acquisition of Edinburgh Fund Managers, where she was CIO and joint managing director.
