Robert Mumby has retired from fund management after nine years at Jupiter, handing his funds to Guy de Blonay.
Mumby (pictured) had run the £41m Jupiter International Financials fund since 2011 and the offshore €62m JGF Global Financials fund since 2010. Following Mumby's retirement on 31 December last year, both portfolios have been taken over by de Blonay, previously deputy manager. The latter also remains in charge of the flagship £462m Jupiter Financial Opportunities fund. Mumby's 35-year career began at KPMG and then the Industrial Bank of Japan.
