Threadneedle has rebranded as Columbia Threadneedle Investments after completing a formal tie-up with its US sister company.
The rebrand reflects the firm's closer links with its US-based affiliate Columbia Management, and gives it a brand presence in North America. The company intends to expand its presence in key markets including Latin America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. Columbia Management has $358bn in assets under management, and the combined business has $500bn in AUM across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternatives.
