Former WMA chief May joins Investec Wealth board

Former Wealth Management Association (WMA) chief executive Tim May has joined Investec Wealth & Investment as a non-executive director.

May left the WMA in September, after four years during which he oversaw the organisation's rebrand from APCIMS to WMA. He will now become a non-executive director at Investec Wealth & Investment and sit on the firm's audit and remuneration committee. May previously worked for Investec between 1987 and 2002, when it was branded Sheppards and then Carr Sheppards Crosthwaite.
