Old Mutual Wealth has unveiled a B2B2C top-up service following a trial with advisers last year.
The new service allows advisers to let clients top up their ISAs and collective investment schemes online via debit payments and online transfers. It aims to give advisers and consumers more control and freedom over how they manage top-ups. Old Mutual Wealth said it would be the advisers' decision if they wish to offer this service to clients. Its latest research found 43% of consumers want to use a combination of advice and self-service, up from 28% in 2012. The service was trialled last February and Old Mutual Wealth initially intended to launch a full service by the end of 2014...
