Newton to expand multi-asset range with monthly income fund

Newton Investment Management is expanding its multi-asset range with the launch of a Multi-Asset Income fund on 4 February.

The fund will sit in the group's £21bn multi-asset range and will be run by Paul Flood, manager of the £98m Newton Multi-Asset Diversified Return fund, and Nick Clay, who runs the £223m BNY Mellon Global Equity Higher Income fund. The launch comes as pensioners in the UK prepare to gain more flexibility at retirement, fuelling demand for income-producing multi-asset solutions, and follows the recent overhaul of Newton's wider multi-asset range.
