LGIM restructures senior management team

L&G Investment Management (LGIM) has restructured its senior team to reflect a pair of new roles, a retirement and several promotions.

Global head of solutions Aaron Meder has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of investment and will lead all LGIM's investment teams (excluding real assets) as a result. Sarah Aitken has been appointed head of distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Asia for both institutional and retail, having joined LGIM in an institutional role last year from Insight Investment, where she was head of distribution.
