Ex-Ignis manager Lee takes over OMGI's China fund

Former Ignis manager Diamond Lee is to take the reins of the $100m Old Mutual Greater China Equity fund.

The fund was previously sub-advised by Metisq Capital. Lee joined Old Mutual Global Investors' Asian equities team in November 2014. The team manages $400m of assets and is headed up by Josh Crabb. It is currently part of Old Mutual Global Investors UK, based in London, but regulatory approval is being sought to move the department to join Old Mutual Global Investors Asia Pacific Limited in Hong Kong in March 2015.
