Natixis launches pair of multi-factor smart beta funds

Natixis Global Asset Management has unveiled two multi-factor equity funds run by its French affiliate Seeyond.

The two UK domiciled OEICs are based on existing strategies run by the Paris-based portfolio manager. The Seeyond Factor Plus UK Equity fund and Seeyond Factor Plus Europe ex UK Equity funds are long-only portfolios investing across four 'factors' or themes: value, low volatility, small cap, and momentum. Managers David Belloc and Pierre Savarzeix run the funds using a quant-based strategy combined with an active approach to risk management.
