Former Old Mutual Asset Managers(OMAM) chief investment officer Eoin Murray has joined Hermes as head of its investment office.
Murray, who left OMAM in 2008 to work at hedge funds Callanish Capital and then GSA Capital, has also worked at Northern Trust Global Investments and Deutsche Asset Management. In his new role, Murray will lead the group's investment office, which is responsible for issuing the ‘kitemark' given to all new investment strategies at Hermes. He will ensure investment teams adhere to chosen investment processes and will oversee their delivery of risk-adjusted returns.
