Waverton's Kelton to join Odey Asset Management

Top-performing European equity manager Oliver Kelton is to join Odey Asset Management.

Kelton's £1.1bn Waverton European fund will also move across to Crispin Odey's firm, subject to regulatory approval, as part of an agreement between the two firms. The manager (pictured) will join the boutique in March after 14 years at Waverton Investment Management, which rebranded from J. O. Hambro Investment Management at the start of last year. Kelton's European fund has returned 115% over the past three years, compared with an average of 60.2% for Europe inc-UK equity peers, according to FE.
