Ross Teverson, Jupiter's global emerging markets (GEM) head of strategy, has introduced formal sector analysis responsibilities across the team for the first time and scaled back the number of holdings in his new portfolios.
Teverson (pictured) joined the group in November from Standard Life Investments, and began running the £159m China and £21m GEM funds at the start of 2015, following the departure of Philip Ehrmann and Kathryn Langridge. In a bid to increase collaboration within the team, each member is now responsible for coverage of specific sectors across the entire GEM universe (see table), with ideas being fed into relevant portfolios.
