Old Mutual Wealth's Barrett to join lang cat consultancy

Old Mutual Wealth platform marketing manager Mike Barrett is to join the lang cat consultancy as a consulting director.

Barrett (pictured) has worked at Old Mutual Wealth for 18 years but will join the consultancy, founded and run by Mark Polson, this June. The consultancy said Barrett's knowledge of platforms and their users, and the regulatory challenges facing both, will complement its existing team. The lang cat is based in Scotland, meaning Southampton-based Barrett will be responsible for the firm's work in London and the South of England. Barrett said: "The lang cat is a company I have admired for several years. The depth of insight their output contains puts them in a league of their own." ...
