Investec Wealth appoints head of digital for simplified advice launch

Investec Wealth & Investment is to launch an online simplified advice service later this year and has appointed Jane Warren to oversee the launch.

The wealth manager is planning to take on the likes of Nutmeg in offering such a service as part of a broader online push, though Investec's service is likely to offer actively-managed funds as opposed to Nutmeg's passive-only service. The new offering will help the business target "a broader range of clients", Investec Wealth added.
