Newcastle Building Society chief executive Jim Willens has been appointed chairman of Brown Shipley.
Willens will begin his new role today following the departure of Alan Dickinson after three years as chair. Dickinson has become a director of Lloyds Banking Group. Willens was first a non-executive director on the Brown Shipley board in 2012 and re-joined in January 2014. He has been the chief executive of Newcastle Building Society for five years and was previously the CEO of Dunfermline Building Society.
