Monica Waller, co-founder of The Investment Network and the Aberdeen UK Platform Awards, has died after a short illness.
Monica was well-known and much loved by many in the retail investment industry. Lawrence Gosling, editorial director of Professional Adviser and Investment Week, said: "Monica was a sheer delight to work with on the Platform Awards, and her sparkling smile and modesty are something I will never forget. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her." The Investment Network was set up by Monica and her husband and co-director, Clive Waller, in 2007.
