Ex-Midas sales head takes charge at Seneca IM

Former Midas and Momentum sales head David Thomas has joined Liverpool-based Seneca Investment Managers as its new CEO.

Thomas was previously head of retail sales at Momentum Global Partners. He joined Momentum from Midas Capital Partners where he was business development director. Midas Capital Partners was merged into Miton Group in 2008. Seneca IM subsequently acquired a Liverpool-based subsidiary of Miton in March last year, which included a Midas fund. Thomas replaces Stuart Eaton in his new role, Eaton having co-founded Seneca Partners in 2010 before becoming CEO at the time of the acquisition last year.
