Neil Woodford's record-breaking Patient Capital investment trust moved to a premium shortly after launching on the London Stock Exchange.
Woodford Investment Management (WIM) listed ordinary shares at 100p each today. Shares in the trust, which raised a record £800m during its offer period then rose to 103p after opening before moving to a trading high of 105.85p shortly after. At 9.10am the trust was trading at 101.25p. Commenting on the launch, analysts at Numis said: "We expect the fund to trade well in the near term given Neil Woodford's strong track record and the high profile of the vehicle.
