Paul Abberley, chief executive at Charles Stanley, is considering taking a more hands-on role at the business by becoming involved in the management of one of the group's funds.
Abberley (pictured) joined the firm as chief investment officer last June, before stepping up to CEO last December. His focus has been on completing a strategic review of the company's operations, as well as divesting non-core businesses, but the chief executive is now considering adding a more specialised role to his responsibilities.
