Legg Mason to rename UK fund range

Legg Mason is renaming a number of portfolios in its ICVC fund range to reflect the underlying investment manager.

The changes will take effect on 28 June and will bring the naming of the open-ended  range in line with other Legg Mason fund ranges. The group said adding the relevant Legg Mason subsidiary to the fund name will improve clarity for investors. Legg Mason will also add the abbreviation IF (investment funds) to its UK range, to ensure the sub-funds are easily identifiable as UK onshore products and avoid overlap with offshore products in the ICVC range.
