Alliance Trust chief executive Katherine Garrett-Cox has been named the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of2015.
The award celebrates entrepreneurial women who Veuve Clicquot feels have made significant contribution to business. Previous winners include fashion designer Anya Hindmarch and Body Shop founder Anita Roddick. The firm considers factors such as entrants' entrepreneurship and business acumen, financial success and sustained profitable business growth, corporate social responsibility and role model skills.
