WisdomTree has brought two of its flagship currency-hedged ETFs to Europe to offer investors the option to hedge exposure to the euro and the yen.
The two strategies - WisdomTree Japan Equity and Europe Equity UCITS ETFs - both hedge the respective currency to the US dollar, providing protection from currency fluctuations. The two new products will be listed in the UK, Italy, and Germany on the same day. Both funds are based on the same indices as the firm's flagship US-listed ETFs, with the Japanese ETF holding $17.2bn in assets, while the European product has a total of $19.5bn tracked against the index.
