Matterley has launched the FP Matterley Bond Opportunities fund for the recently appointed Peter Geikie-Cobb.
Former F&C manager Geikie-Cobb (pictured) joined Charles Stanley as managing director of its Matterley fund business in January, and he was tasked with "reinvigorating" the division following changes in 2014. The Bond Opportunities fund, an absolute return bond fund targeting returns of 5%-6% per annum after fee, will be run with Jeremy Palliser, who joined Matterley in November 2014. The fund will only hold government bonds and use volatility strategies for downside protection.
