Henderson finance chief joins GAM

Henderson's Richard McNamara has joined GAM as its new chief financial officer.

McNamara will take over the role from Marco Suter, who will step down from the group's management board by the end of 2015. He has been its CFO since January 2013. McNamara is currently the managing director of Henderson Group's finance division, a role he has held for two years. He will take over from Suter in the second half of 2015. Suter will remain at GAM as an adviser, firstly to McNamara and then to the company's CEO and senior management.
