Ex-St James's Place chief joins Coutts

Coutts & Co has hired former St James's Place chief executive Mark Lund as a non-executive director.

Lund will join as an independent director on the board, working alongside Francesca Barnes on developing and implementing a new strategy, with both also acting as ambassadors for the business. Lund was CEO of St James's Place from 2004 to 2007, and has also worked at J.P. Morgan FundsHub, Henderson Global Investors and Honister Capital. More recently, he has undertaken a series of non-executive roles, including chairing Equiniti Financial Services' board, and working as a director at Skipton Financial Services and at MyCSP, a pension payments administrator.
