Latest P2P trust targets £100m as alternatives boom continues

GLI Finance has announced plans to launch a new alternative debt investment trust which is aiming to raise at least £100m during its initial public offering.

The new trust, GLI Alternative Finance, will invest in a range of small to medium enterprise loan assets which will be managed by GLI Asset Management. The trust's board is seeking to raise a minimum of £100m during the initial public offering through the issuance of ordinary shares, which it intends to trade on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
