Wealth management firm Myddleton Croft has promoted former BNY Mellon/Newton retail sales head Julie Jones to managing director, as chief executive David Cowell moves to a chairman role.
Cowell, who founded the company in 2006, is currently chief executive but will become chairman in July. Jones joined the firm three years ago as a business development director responsible for building key relationships and promoting the firm's discretionary fund portfolios. She previously worked as head of UK retail sales at BNY Mellon for six years. In her new role as managing director, Jones will work closely with Cowell and investment director Patrick Toes.
