Standard Life Investments has expanded its multi-asset team with the hire of BNP Paribas' Gerry Fowler.
Fowler (pictured) was global head of equity and derivatives strategy at BNP Paribas for five years, having previously been global head of research strategy at Citi. He has now been appointed investment director, idea generation at the Edinburgh-based fund house. At SLI, he will be part of a 57-strong team responsible for idea generation, investment recommendations and implementation on the firm's multi-asset income funds.
