Artemis Strategic Assets analyst Parkinson resigns

Giles Parkinson, analyst on Artemis' £977m Artemis Strategic Assets fund, is to leave the group after resigning his position.

Parkinson has worked on the Strategic Assets fund alongside William Littlewood for the past five years, having joined Artemis from Newton in 2010. The group has informed investors in the fund that Parkinson will be replaced by Kartik Kumar, a member of Artemis' investment team since 2012, following an "appropriate period of transition". Kumar has worked on the Strategic Assets portfolio for the past 18 months, the group added.
