Invesco has appointed Asia Pacific fixed income CIO Ken Hu as manager of the fixed income portion of its $1.1bn Invesco Asia Balanced fund, following the departure of manager Frankie Tai.
Hu will work on the Luxembourg-domiciled fund alongside current manager Andy Wong, who has been responsible for the equity management since 2013. Tai is leaving the group for personal reasons. he will stay with Invesco for the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
