First State is to launch three new Asian equity funds, following the split of the First State Stewart team earlier this year.
They will be managed by First State Stewart Asia, the Singapore-based half of the former First State Stewart brand which split at the start of the month. The three new funds - Asia All Cap, Asia Focus and Japan Equity - have been registered by the company and will be launched at a later date. There will be a mandatory initial fee in place and a restricted capacity level applied to all the funds.
